Music is Everything

September 17, 2015

Have you ever been so displeased  to the point to where you just don't know what to

do? Well, I have. At times when life gets tough, I just put my ear phones in and turn the

music up. Music helps me relax, it helps me think, and it keeps me calm. There have

been moments when music saved me.

I remember one day at school my cousin got me so heated, I could have punched

her out. Of course I didn't, instead I put my ear phones in, turned the music all the way up,

and walked off. I don't know what it is, but when the beat of the music hits me, it just

takes me away. Music can make you feel better, no matter the situation. For example,

losing my cousin this summer made me feel really heartbroken. It was like I lost the one thing I

could never get back.  I lost a part of my heart.  The worst part for me was knowing I lost

my birthday buddy. My cousin and I shared the same birthday just thinking about not

getting a call from her hurts so much. I remember all the emotions from different people

at the funeral. We were all unhappy and furious, but once we heard the rhythm of the music, we

all felt the music moving us. Hands were clapping, people were dancing, and those tears

became tears of joy.

I've also noticed other people who use music as an escape from their feelings.

My mom, my brother, my sister, cousins, neighbors, and friends have all experienced this.People

listen to music for many different reasons. Many people can connect with music. There is a wide

variety of music to choose from. Music speaks to you and it tells you a story. Most songs

have a meaning and you can connect to it, not only the song but the artist as well.

Over the years , I've noticed the vibe music throws off to certain people. Music

makes you feel good mind, body, and soul. It gives you a voice to be heard. In addition

i believe that music is something that should be a part in everyone's lives. I really

suggest that people use music as a ticket to happiness.
